We are celebrating the 14th Anniversary ofAnnals of Hepatology(AH). We are very happy and extraordinarily grateful by the many clinical and basic researches as well as young investigators all dedicated to the study of liver disease in different geographical areas in the world. From them we have received several manuscripts to be published in AH and the total publications at this time is 1,200 (Figure 1). We also have received suggestions and positive comments for AH.
It is important to mention that through this period many distinguish colleagues from different academic institutions have collaborated in the editorial board of AH and other as reviewers of AH manuscripts. Thanks to them we have maintained and improved day by day the quality of the journal.
We would like to share with you a brief summary of the results of our most recent achievements of AH. In fact, various things have moved on at the Journal during this period. The electronic submission system in 2011. The accessibility of each manuscript through the links in PubMed and, very recently, the digital object identifier (DOI) system for the electronic version of AH.
In my role of Editor-in-Chief and the staff of the journal warmly thank for everybody who are contributing to the growth of AH. I am sure that you feel very proud to participate in this endeavor.
