Summary

We describe the clinical features of a malignant Phyllodes tumour in a 41 year old patient, which me-tastasised in the soft tissue of the thigh. We correlate these findings with the histo-pathological criteria associated with the clinical course and metastatic behaviour of this tumour. Stromal overgrowth is the most important criteria for predicting the metastatic behaviour of a malignant Phyllodes tumour.
